Refund Policy
ASO Playbook is a one-time $29.99 purchase that delivers a custom 20-page App Store Optimization rewrite within ~2 minutes of payment. We back this with three concrete commitments below.
1. Full refund — technical failures
If the report fails to generate after you pay, you receive a full automatic refund. No email, no support ticket — our system detects the failed state and Stripe processes the refund within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method. This includes:
- Our generation pipeline times out, errors, or returns an empty report
- The App Store metadata fetch fails for the URL you submitted (rare — usually means the app was unpublished)
- Our service is down at the time of payment
- You are charged twice for the same checkout (duplicate charge)
If you observe one of the above and don't see a refund within 10 business days, email us with your Stripe receipt and we will resolve it within 24 hours.
2. Free re-run — anything else
If the report generated successfully but the suggestions don't match your expectations — wrong tone, off-target keywords, you meant to submit a different country, you want to try the same app again with new reviews — we offer a free re-run on the same app or a different app of equivalent scope, no questions asked, within 30 days of purchase.
Email us at hello@asoplaybook.ai with your original purchase reference and the new App Store URL you'd like analyzed. We aim to respond within one business day.
We chose re-run over refund for this category because: (a) you've already extracted real value from the audit data even if you disagree with one suggestion, (b) a fresh run typically addresses the concern more directly than $29.99 back, and (c) it lets us keep prices low for everyone — generous flat refunds make that impossible at this price point.
3. What we don't refund
The following are out of scope:
- "I changed my mind." The free preview lets you inspect the audit, score, observations, and the first three keywords before you ever see the checkout. Buyer's remorse on a $29.99 digital purchase after a free preview isn't a refund situation — it's a request the free preview is designed to prevent.
- "The report didn't increase my downloads in X weeks." The report delivers paste-ready ASO copy backed by real Apple keyword data — it does not guarantee a specific outcome, because outcomes depend on factors we don't control (your implementation, the App Store's ranking dynamics, your category's competitive density, your screenshot quality, your reviews). Re-runs are available under section 2.
- "I gave it the wrong URL by mistake." Falls under the free re-run policy in section 2 — email us, we'll process the new app on the house.
- Chargebacks for delivered reports. If you dispute a charge for a successfully-delivered report without first contacting us, we will provide Stripe with the report delivery timestamp, IP address of the report view, and email delivery proof. This is standard for digital deliverables; we'd rather just talk first — email hello@asoplaybook.ai.
How to request a refund
For technical failures (section 1), no action is required — refunds are automatic.
For free re-runs (section 2), email hello@asoplaybook.ai with:
- Your Stripe receipt number (starts with
ch_orpi_) - The original App Store URL you submitted
- The new App Store URL (if different)
- A line on what wasn't right — helps us improve
We respond within one business day. If your situation isn't covered above, email us anyway — we read every message and treat each case on its merits.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version applicable to your purchase is the one in effect on the date of payment. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
