Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of ASO Playbook (the "Service"), operated by Worth A Try LLC ("we", "us"). By using the Service or purchasing a report, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What the Service is
ASO Playbook accepts an Apple App Store URL and produces a custom report containing a rewritten title, subtitle, description, 100-character keyword field, screenshot copy, and a 90-day action plan. Reports are generated using Anthropic's Claude AI combined with our own keyword research pipeline (Apple Search Ads, iTunes, and our validated v2 difficulty scorer).
A free preview is available before payment. The full report unlocks after a one-time $29.99 payment via Stripe.
2. Acceptable use
You may use ASO Playbook for any iOS app you have the right to optimize. You may NOT use the Service to:
- Generate reports for apps you don't own or aren't authorized to work on, with the intent to misrepresent ownership or to produce competitive intelligence beyond what's publicly available.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass our paywall, rate limits, or authentication.
- Resell our reports as a standalone service. You can use them for your own apps, your client's apps, or your employer's apps; you cannot package them and re-sell them under a different brand.
- Submit URLs containing automated abuse triggers, malware references, or content that violates Apple's App Store guidelines.
3. AI-generated content disclaimer
Reports are generated by AI and reviewed against Apple's metadata rules by our automated audit (banned tokens, trademarks, length constraints, cross-field duplicates). We make a best-effort to ensure outputs are accurate and Apple-compliant, but:
- AI output is probabilistic. Two reports for the same app generated minutes apart may differ.
- We don't guarantee a specific ranking, conversion rate, download number, or revenue outcome from implementing the report. Outcomes depend on your implementation, your category, your competitors, your screenshots, your reviews, and Apple's ranking algorithm — all of which we don't control.
- Apple keyword popularity and difficulty data we use is sourced from Apple's own first-party data and our validated scorer, but Apple may change data schemas or availability without notice.
- Always review the rewritten copy before submitting it to App Store Connect. We catch most policy violations automatically; final responsibility for what you ship rests with you.
4. Payments and refunds
Reports are $29.99 USD, one-time. Payment is processed by Stripe. We don't store credit card data — Stripe is the merchant of record for the transaction.
Our refund policy is detailed at asoplaybook.ai/refunds. The short version: full automatic refund for technical failures, free re-run for any other concern within 30 days, no refund for buyer's remorse on a delivered report.
5. Intellectual property
You own the report we generate for you. You can paste the rewrite into App Store Connect, share the PDF with your team, or do anything else with it that's consistent with these terms.
We retain ownership of the underlying technology — the audit engine, scoring models, prompt design, and keyword pipeline. The Service itself, our brand, and our written marketing content belong to Worth A Try LLC.
6. App Store data and Apple trademarks
ASO Playbook is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. App Store, App Store Connect, iOS, and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc. We use publicly available App Store data via Apple Search Ads' first-party APIs and Apple's iTunes endpoints in accordance with their published terms.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uptime. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, infrastructure outages, or upstream dependencies (Apple, Anthropic, Stripe, Vercel, Neon). If a payment occurs during an outage and the report can't be delivered, the technical-failure refund policy applies automatically.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim — practically, $29.99 per report.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost downloads, lost rankings, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Account and data
We don't require account creation. The only personal data we collect is the email address you optionally provide for report delivery, and the Stripe-verified email tied to your payment. Both are used solely to deliver your report and the abandoned-cart sequence (which you can unsubscribe from in any email). See asoplaybook.ai/privacy for the full privacy policy.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms (notably section 2). For repeated automated abuse, suspension is immediate and without refund.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance. The version applicable to a given purchase is the one in effect on the date of payment.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court with jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property.
